Richard Petty is a motorsports legend who needs no introduction. It’s a little known secret that Richard Petty himself was the impetus behind the famed orange stripe on our MPI steering wheels. So when the #43 car took its 200th win, we wanted to do something special to commemorate the occasion.
We presented both Richard Petty and Erik Jones a one-of-a-kind steering wheel trophy emblazoned with the iconic 43 logo. It’s our small way of congratulating the duo on the achievement and paying homage to the ‘king’ himself on a storybook career.
