Combining his experience in racing and marine with his family’s background in fashion design, Max Papis has embraced his competitive nature to create the best steering wheel in the boating industry. It was very clear directly from Balise that this boat was going to be very innovative yet classic, and it would be a very collaborative design experience. After 10-12 iterations before getting it exactly how he had envisioned, Max approved the Balise steering wheel with a classic look and yacht feel. “If you really look at how we built them, they are as light and technical as could be made”, said Max. Handmade in Italy, this steering wheel was intentionally designed to create a better luxury boating experience.
